Lodge on the Tweed

Set within five acres on the banks of the River Tweed, this lodge enjoys an exceptional setting surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery.

It was the first property we renovated as part of a wider transformation for our clients who had recently acquired a large country Estate with a number of run-down buildings.

Positioned on the periphery of the Estate, the lodge was dated and unloved when we first encountered it, yet it was clear that it offered huge potential.

Our involvement extended far beyond the interior scheme alone; we helped shape the direction of the project, oversaw its progression and transformed the property into a far more refined and commercially attractive asset. Alongside the full interior refurbishment, we introduced an en-suite to the principal bedroom, significantly improving both functionality and overall appeal.

Originally intended to operate as a holiday let, the unexpected uplift in quality and value led the clients to sell, allowing them to focus instead on the other properties located more centrally within the Estate.
